When something doesn’t work out, the question of responsibility is likely to fly around sooner or later. But shouldn’t it also be asked when something does work? Whether an edition of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is considered a success ultimately depends less on concrete figures than on the subjective impressions of participants and visitors. One of these many subjective impressions is that of the festival director. Gabriel Roland, director of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK since 2021, has the opportunity to share these impressions during his Team Tour of the Festival Headquarters. Not only will there be the chance to see what has been created, but also plenty of opportunity to ask questions about the work behind the scenes of the festival. Such as, for example, who’s responsible for all this?!
