Design Everyday 2025

In an increasingly overwhelming world of products, it has become ever more difficult to identify the qualities that give good design its true value. The ninth edition of Design Everyday offered insights into the day-to-day work of Austrian design studios. The format showcased the innovative potential of the local design scene and highlighted how qualities such as function, aesthetics, tactility, and sustainability are continuously rethought and refined to stay relevant.

As a whole, Design Everyday represented an open and growing collection – not aiming for completeness, but with the ambition to provide Austrian product designers with a platform of international reach. The initiative aimed to stimulate dialogue and collaboration between designers and manufacturers, fostering exchange and encouraging new partnerships.

Conceived and curated by Vandasye (Georg Schnitzer and Peter Umgeher) in collaboration with the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, and realized in cooperation with the Vienna Business Agency, Creativity & Business.
