EDUCATION 2015

The VIENNA DESIGN WEEK sees itself as a public festival, hence seeks to appeal not only to the specialists, but to each and every one of us. Its education and communication options yet again offered a low-threshold entry into the wide-ranging festival program. Visitors of all ages were invited to join in the action to be informed, entertained, and inspired. Besides five theme tours throughout the whole of Vienna and all formats, the festival program included numerous opportunities for visitors to join in workshops and participation projects and thus do research on design themselves. The education team design°mobil also ran tours especially for school classes, giving them a demonstration of how design is integrated into everyday life.
